Moscow construction fire claims nine

MOSCOW, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Nine people were killed in a Moscow housing construction fire Saturday, emergency ministry officials said.

ITAR-Tass said the fire happened at a new construction project. The nine dead are believed to be construction workers who were also living at the development.

No cause was given for the blaze.
