JAKARTA, Jan. 2 (UPI) -- Indonesian authorities said Wednesday they have not determined the cause of death of an Australian woman found floating in her pool in Bali.
The body of Denni North, 33, was found Sunday morning in the pool of her villa, about six hours after she returned home with three friends, The (Melbourne, Australia) Age reported.
Bali police have requested an autopsy to determine how North died, but Aldi Alfa, the police chief of North Kuta, said no suspicious bruises or obvious signs of assault were found on her body.
Police also are trying to locate the friends who found the body. North's body was taken to a local hospital, but her death was not reported to police until two days later, by a security guard at the villa.
North had lived alone in the villa for two months, according to the security guard.
